Don’t kill me, but I’m so ready for Fall weather! Not because we’ve had a terribly hot summer here. The weather has actually been very mild this Summer. I’m looking forward to Fall just for the fashion. I know it might sound crazy to some, but at the close of every season, I begin thinking about what I’ll be wearing next season. And this time is no different.
I’m loving huge blanket scarves, Frye boots, and Dr. Martens for Fall. I’m also looking forward to wearing some of my lighter jackets & blazers and to start layering my clothes again. Layering fashionably is truly a skill worth mastering, and it helps you get the most use out of wardrobe pieces. Putting a button-down shirt under a sleeveless sheath dress allows you to transition the dress into colder weather and it gives added purpose to a basic shirt. The same can be said for using a large pashmina in a totally different way by belting it like a jacket over a turtleneck sweater. The possibilities are endless so I’m pretty excited!
Admittedly, in a few months, I’ll be thinking about down jackets and earmuffs…..so just bear with me.
